A dealer sees the year, make, model, trim, kilometres, colour, condition, declared history, whether a lien exists and the first three characters of the postal code. Nothing else.
Amount, expiry, inspection conditions, pickup availability, payment method and whether they can handle a lien payout. Every offer is explicitly conditional.
The comparison happens on our servers. The dealer is never told your Secret Sell Price, and is never told whether they were close.
A dealer cannot see your Secret Sell Price, your name, your telephone number, your email address, your exact address, your VIN or your ownership documents. If you never respond to an offer, they never learn anything more about you than the anonymized vehicle record they searched.
A lot of automotive marketing treats an estimate like a cheque. We label every stage plainly so you always know what you are actually holding.
